AMD started the assigned task of atomic mineral exploration/evaluation in the country with 23 scientific and 7 technical personnel in 1950 which has now grown into a multi-disciplinary organization with 2354 personnel (as on 01.11.2016) in scientific (530), technical (443), administrative (253) and auxiliary (1128) categories as per following breakup.
To impart training to the newly recruited personnel as well as to upgrade the knowledge base of the serving employees, various training programs are arranged from time to time by the HRD group, located at the headquarter.
