67th Annual day was celebrated on 29.07.2016 at AMD headquarters, Hyderabad. The function was attended by many retired officials along with officers and staff of AMD. Shri G. Kalyankrishnan, Chief Executive, Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. K. Shiv Kumar and Shri Gajanan Pandey, retired officials of AMD were the guests of honour. Dr. A.K. Rai, Director, AMD, presided over the function. Dr. Rai, in his address, provided a glimpse of the commendable achievements of AMD, particularly during the last year and expressed commitment for better performance in the years to come with the blessings of elders and active involvement of employees. The retired officials shared their reminiscences. Rolling trophies were awarded to units with highest drilling productivity in mechanical as well as hydrostatic rig categories. Shri Kalyankrishnan delivered the Annual day lecture on "An overview of fuel fabrication facilities of NFC". He spoke about fabrication of various fuel assemblies, tubes and other materials required for the Atomic Energy Programme of India. The programme concluded with a cultural programme by inhouse talent.
