DAE – Iconic Week, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, was celebrated in Beach Sand and Off-Shore Investigations (BSOI), Sectional Office, AMD Visakhapatnam on 23rd August, 2022. A total of 40 students and 07 teachers from four (04) schools of Visakhapatnam participated in the celebrations. The guests were provided the welcome-kit which included cap and pen with printed logo of Azadi ka Amit Mahotsav. AMD - Infosheet was distributed to the students. Shri. P. Nageswara Rao, Incharge, BSOI, AMD Visakhapatnam welcomed the students and teachers and delivered a lecture on the activities of AMD and DAE. Subsequently films on AMD and DAE activities were screened. The guests visited the museum and AMD exhibition which included exhibits, posters and models depicting activities of AMD and DAE. This was followed by quiz competition based on exhibition and visit to AMD facilities.
